Hot Toys - Gamora

Glad I picked this one up when I did, it's completely sold out and prices on Amazon are already starting to rise, ranging anywhere from $300.00 to $700.00.  The movie-accurate Hot Toys  Gamora one sixth scale figure is specially crafted based on the image of Zoe Saldana as Gamora in the film, featuring the newly developed head sculpt, a highly detailed costume, weapons and accessories. This is a must have, but unfortunately if you want it now you'll probably have to go the the secondary market. One of my more expensive pickups but well worth the money. 

Hauptsturmfuhrer Otto Skorzeny: Dragon

For those of you that don't want to spend a fortune but at the same time are looking for the very best in quality and collectability, you need look no farther than Dragon Modeling Ltd. DML was established in 1987 to manufacture plastic Model Kits according to its own designs. The high quality products that DML has produced have won numerous awards from magazines and modeling societies throughout the world. They are becoming very popular at collector toy conventions and as you can see from the pics I took last weekend there are plenty to choose from. To date Dragon has produced more than 1,000 different models so you won't run out of thing to collect any time soon. Priced around $40-60.00 mint in box, but you can also find lose figures in good condition for anywhere from 25.00-$30.00 per piece.

I myself picked up this beautiful Otto Skorzeny figure for C$25.00 at the last toy show, out of box. It has absolutely no wear what-so-ever and looks like it was manufactured yesterday. Released in July 1993 this is an exceptional representation of Otto Skorzeny as he looked in the Gran Sasso Raid of 1943. Otto Skorzeny was chosen as the field commander to carry out the rescue mission that freed the deposed Italian dictator Benito Mussolini from captivity.  Skorzeny was also the leader of Operation Grief, in which German soldiers were to infiltrate through enemy lines, using their opponents’ language, uniforms, and customs to cause as much destruction and sabotage as possible. I'm very exciting about picking this up and everyone that has seen it so far marvels at the detail.

80s Toys Toy Expo - Mississauge - May 1st 2016

 A great little event held several times each year Mississauga. If you're a 70 and 80s Toy collector then this is the show for you.

 501st Legion in attendance for this event.

 Black Series Star Wars action figures. Price vary depending on the rarity some are very difficult to find. I gave some serious thought to picking up the Boba Fett. 

Dragon WW II action figures, very detailed and for $25.00 out of box, a very good price to be sure.

 Custom action figures by local artist Mike Thain. His company SoDaT Collectables remodels many different figures each one more impressive than the last. You can see his stuff on Facebook,.

 Skateboard decks from San Bernadino California, price $120.00 a piece. Very Cool !

Another great show, cant wait for the nest one. Always a good time and I kept my spending under control form once which was not easy.

Spice Girls Dolls

Don't laugh, I picked these up last weekend at the 2015 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo held at the Hilton Mississauga Meadowvale. These things sell for anywhere between $40.00 - $80.00 per doll on Ebay. I paid just $38.00 for the entire set, a steal to say the least. These will continue to increase in value. As you can see they are all still in their boxes although Victoria and Mel B are missing their accessories. Value is where you find it and these certainly have value.
