The Starlost 101 - Voyage of Discovery

Circa 1973, I used to love this show as a kid. This is one of the first Canadian Science Fiction shows ever produced here in the great white North. The concept was sound and the stories were excellent, but the execution left much to be desired. If only CTV and could have furnished a decent budget there is no doubt in my mind that The Star Lost would have stayed on the air for many many years. I believe they should revisit this idea and give it one more kick at the can. The voyage of the Star Lost should definitely continue. A far better concept than  Ascension the new Canadian science fiction drama that I gotta be honest, aint doing a whole lot for me.

Below is the original model that was actually used during the filming of the show. An iconic piece of Canadian Sci Fi history sitting in some old warehouse suffering from neglect....such a shame...What I wouldn't do to own it...

The Lost Episodes - Batman 66 #1 - Alex Ross Cover

I know the Incentive Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez Variant Cover is worth more, but the Alex Ross cover is far cooler. I just picked this book up yesterday, although it's been out for a number of months.  During the original Batman television series run, legendary science-fiction writer Harlan Ellison turned in an outline for a story that would have introduced Two-Face. The story never made it to air, and Two-Face never entered the TV show's Rogues Gallery. Now, 'The Two-Way Crimes of Two-Face' is adapted to comics by two comic book legends: writer Len Wein and artist Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez.

Alex Maleev Variant - Star Wars #1

Star Wars #1 Warp 9 Variant" by Alex Maleev. This is another variant I'm looking for by was unable to find. I don't think that a lot of these covers were even available in Canada. If they were, I sure didn't find them at any of the stores I shop at. Looks like I'm going to be spending some money at the comic con in March.

Leonard Nimoy Tribute (1931 - 2015)

JoBlo Movies pays tribute to one of the most legendary actors of all-time, Leonard Nimoy. This nice little one minute piece sums up what great man he was. Leonard sadly passed away yesterday, he will be missed.
