Superfan Comic Con 2014

Toronto's  newest comic convention / pop culture event was held last weekend at the Better Living Centre near the CNE in downtown Toronto. Among the guest on hand were Lou Ferrigno, Margot Kidder, E. Roger Mitchell, Jack Donner and Lorenzo Lamas to name just a few. As I expected the turn out for this event was a bit light, although I thought the organizer to a pretty fine job putting this event together regardless. Let hope they take another kick at the can next year. I'm sure most new events like this don't make money the first year, no biggie...fun time was had.

 

A silver Elvis, I've gotta say that this is the first time I've seen him at an event.

 

Yes, there was a large wrestling component to this show, including a full size ring with regular wrestling matches throughout the day. Great fun for the kids.

 

 

A lot of different vendors and artist on hand, this was far more a opo culture event that a comic con.

The 501st Legion was on hand, a familiar sight and one of the coolest costuming clubs there is.
